The brief
Evidence that holds up. Landlords, tenants, tradespeople and drivers all take photos to protect themselves, and a photo on its own is easy to challenge later: when exactly was it taken, and has it changed since? Witnessed is an app for capturing photos that can be relied on when it matters.
The work
We designed and built the product end to end, from the capture flow to the App Store.
Every photo is sealed on the device the moment it is taken: a SHA-256 hash fixes the image so any later alteration is detectable, and the evidence exports as a court-ready PDF with its details laid out plainly. The app is built in Flutter on Supabase.
The design job here was trust. The capture flow leaves no room for doubt about what was recorded and when, and the export is something a solicitor can hand over without a covering explanation. Fewer features, harder guarantees.
